After twenty years in the business……I still consider myself lucky to have a professional role in the voiceover industry. I have a job that allows me to become someone new every day, to seek out that perfect blend of subtlety and nuance unique to every project. I love that I’m in a profession that keeps me constantly learning and constantly challenged. Even with a full portfolio stocked with high-profile clients and over 250,000 IVR telephone prompts under my belt, I’m still amazed that I get to work in this exciting, ever-changing industry.

One of the things I love best about being a professional male voice over talent is the sheer versatility the industry demands. Whether I’m providing the cool-and-collected voice for a corporate project, or articulating a smooth-and-soothing telephone hold message (both found in my demos), I know I’ve got to tease out the vibes, moods, and overall feeling that the client is looking for. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some vastly different projects, and each one brings a new challenge. One day I’ll be seeking out the perfect material for an e-learning podcast, and the next day I’ll be delivering evocative, compelling commercial voice-overs. Each day brings the opportunity to do something completely different; and I’ll admit that, though my versatility is one of the greatest assets on my resume, it also does wonders in keeping me from getting bored!
